ANOTHER year has bitten the dust and guess what?
Pensioners and low income families still have nowhere to take their precious pets for affordable health care.
The PDSA are still no nearer with the hospital they promised us years ago. The last I heard was that the land that they had was too small and they were waiting for the "Council" to find them an alternate site.
What is going on, we never get any nearer?
Bolton people can hold their heads up, having raised vast amounts of money for this project, but how long before they say enough is enough. If this project is not feasible it should not have been promised in the first place, then we would not have knocked ourselves out raising all this money.
Having gone this far, we must make sure that it means something for Bolton.
So, who's fault is it that we are still waiting?
Actually, I question why we need a purpose-built hospital. Surely to buy and convert existing property would serve our precious companions just the same.
Or, is it image that someone, somewhere is bothered about? Still waiting...
