FANS of Bolton singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy are being offered a prize to treasure -- the chance to have their own composition recorded by him.
The artist, whose real name is Damon Gough, has had a string of chart hits with his latest single Born Again hitting the top 20.
In a quirky competition open to anyone who has bought current album Have You Fed The Fish? five golden fish have been placed in copies of the record.
Anyone who finds the golden fish will have their music or lyrics recorded by the star.
The competition is also open to anyone who has bought the album via the singer's website at www.badlydrawnboy.co.uk.
Damon, originally from Breightmet, has enjoyed enormous success since his debut album The Hour of the Bewilderbeast scooped the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 2000. Last year he wrote the soundtrack for About A Boy, the hit movie starring Hugh Grant. He was chosen because Nick Hornby, author of the bestselling novel on which the film is based, is a fan.
