WEST Brom manager Gary Megson is a surprise hit among Wanderers fans.
In our latest poll we asked fans to vote who is the best manager of the teams involved in the Premiership relegation battle? Big Sam was excluded from this vote!
And of the 259 votes recorded Megson, who goes head to head with Wanderers at the Hawthorns on Saturday, gained a very creditable 56 votes.
Boro's Steve McClaren topped the poll with Leeds' Terry Venables second.
Wanderers fans are not very impressed with West Ham's Glenn Roeder or Howard Wilkinson of Sunderland - they collected eight and six votes respectively.
The full voting was:
Roeder 8
Wilkinson 6
Megson 56
Bruce 14
Tigana 16
McClaren 103
Venables 56
Total 259
