WAYNE Clark and Gary Parr won the Men's Pairs (Watney Mann Trophy) in the Bolton Darts League in aid of the Bolton Senior Gateway Club for Mentally Handicapped Adults.

In the final at the Moonlight Club they beat Mick Meanley and Roy Nield 3-1.

In the semi finals the winners beat Grant Gordon and Paul Baistow and in the other semi finals Mick and Roy, the runners up beat Dave Roe and Mustupha Juneja.

In the Gateway Trophy Ladies Pairs which was played at the Albert Derby Street, at the semi-finals stage, Sonia McGuinness and Mavis Naylor beat Marie Watts and Pat Ryding. Bev Irwin and Sharon Price beat Kath Lawson and Pat Boardman. Both winners will play off in the grand finals night at the end of the season.

The Ladies Section One (Moonlight Club Friday) the leader is Maureen Taylor by two points from Flo Bell and Ellen Wareing with Diane Lee in fourth following close behind are Shirley Holden and Dot Ainsworth.

Leading the Ladies Section Two (Moonlight Club Friday) is Sandy Dyson by two points from Edith Stephens with Marian Heyes in third and Rita Heaton in fourth. Close behind are Jackie Roe, Louise Bond and Jay Davenport.

In the Men's Section Two (Moonlight Club Friday) the leader is Dave Roe by 10 points from Roy Nield, Tommy Jessop and Steve Weall. Following close behind is Garry Parr.

Another one more maximum score of 180 was recorded last week by Dave Roe.
