BULENT Akin continues to be frustrated as he waits for a chance to fulfil his dream of playing in the Premiership.
The midfielder, controversially snapped up on a free transfer from Galatasaray in July, has figured in two of the three cup games this season, but has yet to feature in any league squad.
Now, much to his disappointment, it looks like he may have to wait until next season before he makes his mark.
"He's been very unfortunate," Sam Allardyce said of the Belgium-born Turk who came through major knee surgery last year.
"But I've not been confident enough to throw him in at the deep end. He's still waiting and hoping he'll get the opportunity but he hasn't progressed as well as I would have liked.
"That's left him frustrated but that's the way I see it."
