STUDENTS from non-privileged backgrounds are being invited to sample life at a leading university.
Teenagers can spend a week in July at either Bristol, Cambridge, Nottingham and Oxford, to get a taste of what further education has to offer.
It is hoped the scheme, set up by the Sutton Trust, will encourage them to apply to a top-ranked university.
There are 650 places available nationwide for students aged 16 to 17. The deadline for applications is March 28.
