A PARTY is being held to mark the fourth anniversary of a Bolton residents' group.
It will highlight the work carried out by Sunnyside Tennants and Residents' Association at Great Lever.
It is also hoped the party, being held on Thursday, February 20, at Sunnyside Community Centre, Moisant Street, will raise the profile of the area and look forward to the future.
The group was established in 1999 to encourage people to take pride in Great Lever. It has helped residents fight back against vandalism, graffiti and drug taking, which they said had blighted the area for years. Sunnyside has also managed to win grants worth thousands of pounds which have been spent on everything from door locks to children's discos.
