A FLORAL tribute to the 750th anniversary of Bolton's charter is in the running for one of the top prizes at this year's Tatton Flower Show.
Gardeners at Bolton Council are creating a colourful flower bed display of densely packed blooms formed into a medieval design and modern logo to mark the town's historic landmark.
More than 20 local authorities have been invited to create colourful displays representing their areas for the prestigious horticultural event.
Flower beds are a popular part of the Tatton Show which will be held this year between Wednesday, July 23 and Sunday, July 27.
