PETER Kay has added a last minute date to the second leg of his marathon comedy tour.

Tickets today (Wednesday) went on sale for the Blackpool Opera house tomorrow.

Peter, who played to a packed house in Belfast last night, said: "It's a chance for people who can't get tickets to come along and have a laugh.

"We only realised very late that the date was available, but it would be great to have some people from Bolton there."

The decision to book the extra show was made only yesterday afternoon.

To book for the performance, contact the Blackpool Opera House direct on 01253 292029.

Meanwhile, two charity shows at the Manchester Apollo and Blackpool Opera House raised an incredible £140,000.

Peter will donate the proceeds from the shows on January 22 and 23 to various charities, including Christies against Cancer and the NSPCC. Both venues waived their fees for the fund-raising shows.
