FIREFIGHTERS were needed to cut a prisoner out of handcuffs at Crompton Way Police Station last night.
The man was brought into the station at about 8.30pm, but when police came to take finger prints they found that the metal cuffs had become stuck.
The crew from Bolton North used special cutting gear.
