AFTER overnight rain, the pitches were in remarkably good condition for Sunday's Winter Rounders matches.
The Halliwell League had a full schedule of six matches although some teams had players missing.
Darcy cling on to keep top spot

In the second innings, the Westhoughton side lasted the full 33 good balls and dismissed Darcy with one ball remaining but their efforts were in vain as Darcy held out to win by 22 runs at 133-111.
