Psychologist Dr Richard Wiseman, from the University of Hertfordshire, is conducting an investigation into the nature of luck has discovered that unless a couple agreed on 25 key areas - including politics, what food they like and what TV programmes they watch - then a long-term relationship was less likely to work out.
Looks like polling booths, restaurants and video shops might be the safest places to meet your match, then!
