BOWLERS are being given the chance to protect their mobile phones.
Hollywood Bowl is holding free postcoding sessions for the community at its centre at Middlebrook Leisure Park, Horwich during half-term.
From Monday (February 17) to Friday (February 17), visitors will be able to get their phone marked with their postcode and house number, reducing the chance of it being stolen.
Hollywood Bowl has teamed up with Greater Manchester Police to highlight the issue of mobile phone theft.
One is stolen every three minutes in the UK according to the latest figures.
Leaflets offering advice on how to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of mobile phone theft are also being distributed.
Chris Handley, General Manager of Hollywood Bowl said: "We wholeheartedly support the police in their effort to reduce mobile phone theft and hope this half term initiative will help strengthen the key message of mobile phone safety."
