WITH regard to the fabulous photograph (Bolton Evening News, February 11) of Harwood farmer Arnold Davenport holding up one of his newly delivered twin lambs.
I would just like to admit that, up until seeing the photograph, I didn't much care whether the guy kept his farm or not.
However, I have now changed my mind. That photograph is a portrait of a man in love with his work, as he welcomes one of God's creatures into this world. With war looming on the horizon and misery in the news, this photo really lifted me.
Yes, I have changed my mind. I now do care whether the guy keeps his farm or not.
The camera doesn't lie. God bless you, Arnold. I hope you keep your farm.
