MAGISTRATES at Rochdale have issued a warrant without bail for the arrest of a Bolton man who should have appeared before them in relation to drugs and driving charges.
Edward Frank Ashworth-Brown, aged 39, of Preston Street, Bolton, is accused of possessing 25 grams of cocaine and also having in his possession unlawfully a quantity of amphetamines.
He is further accused of driving in Maclure Road, Rochdale, whilst disqualified and without insurance.
The case was due for committal to the Crown Court but Ashworth-Brown failed to attend and no reason was given for his non-attendance and the warrant was accordingly issued.
