YOUNG musicians from Smithills School Senior Band join the world famous Leyland Band in a Festival of Brass at the Victoria Hall, Bolton on February 22, 7.30pm.
John Hinckley is guest conductor for Leyland, while Smithills' director of music Chris Wormald will be at the helm for the Senior Band.
But the main feature of the evening is the actual programme. The audience will pick it . . .
People are invited to send requests for their favourite pieces to be played on the night. Anyone keen to make a suggestion for the "people's choice" can send suggestions to Festival of Brass, 10 Hardmans, Bromley Cross, Bolton BL7 9XR, or email: David.Whitley1@ntlworld.com
Suggestions must arrive before Friday, February 14.
