Q: Is it true that facials cause spots? I am getting married soon and am considering a course of facials to improve the condition of my skin.
A: In general facials do not cause spots. If your are prone to outbreaks, by having facials toxins will be drawn out of the skin initially but with regular treatments your skin will balance out and breakouts will be minimal. Any client new to having facials should check their suitability to treatment and products at least six weeks before a special occasion, a course of treatment can then be planned. Always use complimentary home care products for maximum benefits and don't forget to maintain a monthly facial afterwards to rejuvenate the skin and prevent blemishes.
