THREE Bolton schools are launching a new scheme which aims to make a real difference to shoppers this summer.
St Pauls Primary C of E, St James C of E and Beech House Preparatory Department will be selling Schools Plus voucher books to parents and the local community, providing money saving discounts from high street favourites including Marks & Spencer, WH Smith, Burger King, Dixons and Superdrug, from April 21.
Under the scheme schools keep £6 from every £10 book sold and should raise between £100 -- £1000, which they will be free to spend as they see fit. Shoppers using a voucher book can easily save £50 or more on their everyday shopping.
Schools Plus would like to help as many Bolton schools as possible this summer -- but there are only 5,000 places available, so schools wanting to raise money are urged to get in touch before the March 27 deadline.
To find out more or to register, schools can call 020 7428 8845, fax 0207 428 8841, email: register@schoolsplus.org.uk or visit www.schoolsplus.org.uk
