Q: Recently, I bought a second-hand wristwatch from a market stall for £8. On the face it has a caricature of former American President Bill Clinton, and the Stars and Stripes. Is it worth anything?
Mr N
A: This was a cheaply-made watch manufactured in China in the mid 1990s and sold as a novelty for just a few pounds. However, because of its political theme, it attracts collectors and is still fetching around £30.
