BOY bands Busted and One True Voice are set to go down a storm at Atlantis Nightclub, in Astley Bridge on Wednesday.

And it will be filmed for ITV1's popular Saturday show, cd:uk, which is hosted by Cat Deeley.

The night, for 13 to 17-year-olds, will run from 7pm to 10.30pm.

Mark Law, boss of Atlantis, said: "I'm flattered that bands of this calibre have chosen to play at this club. It's good for us and the town."

Busted are a pop-chart friendly punk band who had a hit with Year 3000. One True Voice are the boy band formed on ITV1's smash hit talent show Popstars: The Rivals who were beaten to the Christmas number one slot by Girls Aloud.

Tickets for the show, which cost £9, are selling fast and 2,000 people are expected to pack into the club.

Richard Donaldson, managing director of Future Clubbing Limited, which is promoting the night, said: "This will be a chance for youngsters to get up close to the stars. Bands like these play arenas topping 10,000 but here people will be around 50 yards away."

The footage will make the cd:uk news section three days later and if the night proves successful, ITV bosses will be looking to create a nationwide tour based on the programme.
