AN estate agent says a Grade II-listed gothic monument on sale for £225,000 is the strangest sale he has ever had.
The memorial to Francis Egerton, the first Earl of Ellesmere, was built in 1860, off Leigh Road, Worsley.
Estate agent Owen Knox said: "It is the most unusual sale we have ever dealt with."
