Q: I have a small jam pot with a lift-off lid and on the base it says Price Bros. It features Flowers and Bees on the design and is about five inches tall. What is its value?
Mrs O.
A. You could certainly put jam in this pot, but it was actually designed for honey -- hence the bee motif! Both jam and honey pots are quite collectable and this one dates from the 1930s. Price Bros were based in the Staffordshire Potteries and turned out a wide range of domestic products. Value of this item is about £40.
