Q: I have a National Registration Identity Card issued during the Second World War. It is in perfect condition. Does it have any value?
Mrs H
A. Millions of Identity Cards were issued during the second world war and examples are still quite common and thus values are very small. Most examples which crop up on sale at antiques and collectors fairs tend to be priced at just two to three pounds each. It is much the same story with Ration Books, interesting pieces of social history, but sufficiently common to be worth just a pound or two.
