Top Leigh RMI goal scorer Dino Maamria has turned down a transfer move to Stevenage. The former Tunisian Under 21 international had talks with Nationwide Conference team Stevenage last Thursday. After considering their offer over the weekend he has decided to stay at Leigh RMI.
Leigh manager Mark Patterson was delighted at the news that Dino will be staying to spearhead Leigh,s push up the Nationwide Conference table. Patterson said, "Dino is a key member of the Leigh team. His attitude and approach to the game is excellent. There,s no doubt in my mind that his heart lies with the club and it,s great news that he,ll be out there scoring goals for us for the rest of the season."
