THE Iraq saga seems to become more bizarre as the days pass.
The latest report on the evils of Saddam include a word for word thesis by an American student written two years ago.
I would have thought that Colin Powell and Tony Blair would have spotted this plagiarism in their advance copies, but were they so eager to indoctrinate the public they decided to use it? The links with Saddam and Al Quaida were not convincing either.
The inspectors are still at work in Iraq, so what is the hurry, it is a large country. Are Bush and Blair trying to suggest that weapons of mass destruction are being manufactured while they search? The obsession of the American administration to wage war will further the worries of the UN that the true purpose of the invasion is OIL.
Game over for Saddam, shouts Bush. Has "Spiderman" infiltrated Saddam's armoury and discovered WMD ready to be launched, and this at present is too secret to tell the public, as they may panic, or they just do not believe what he says?
