BOWLERS have been striking back at mobile phone thieves.
Hollywood Bowl has been holding free post coding sessions for the community at its centre at Middlebrook Leisure Park, the Link Way, Horwich, this week.
Visitors will be able to get their phone marked with their post code and house number, reducing the chance of it being stolen.
The bowling alley has teamed up with Greater Manchester Police to highlight the issue of mobile phone theft during half term.
Nationally one phone is stolen every three minutes, according to the latest figures.
Leaflets offering advice on how to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of mobile phone theft were also handed out.
