TRAIN conductors have set seven strike dates after rejecting their bosses' latest pay offer, staging walkouts on February 26 and 28, as well as March 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12.
The industrial action on Arriva Trains services comes just a month after drivers at First North Western resolved their dispute. The conductors are looking forpay comparable to that of neighbouring rail companies. Arriva runs services through Bolton to Liverpool and Yorkshire.
The strikes will not affect First North Western services.

Bob Crow, general secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers, said: "After a year of strike action, our members have again decisively rejected an insulting offer which is worth less with every passing day."
On March 12, they will take their case to London to lobby MPs in Parliament.
