IF there is one thing that Bolton loves it is a one-off clubnight to really get excited about.
Or so the swiftness of ticket sales for forthcoming shindig Coco Loco would suggest. This special event takes place at the Last Drop Hotel on Saturday night and with two rooms of music to cater for every glam clubber's needs, it promises to be an evening to remember.
The man behind Coco Loco, organiser and DJ Danny Whitehead, is keen to present an event that is truly unique.
He said: "It's the kind of party I really wanted to d. When you are DJing for someone else you have to consider them but I'm doing this exactly my way. We've got breakdancers and a magician who does really bizarre stuff. We've also got discounted rooms available, so a lot of people are staying up there."
This kind of attention to detail will be the icing on the cake; the clubnight has more than enough to recommend it with its two rooms of music and seven DJs.
In the Main Room Jason Herd (North), Danny Whitehead (2 Kinky, Garlands), Phil Rose (Kilhey Court), Anthony Ashcroft (2 Risque) and Mike Catherall (Juice) will be spinning the tunes, while in the second room R'n'B, funk and 80s tunes will be the order of the day courtesy of Stuart Whitehead and Dave Shaw on the decks.
To add to the slinky, sophisticated feel, a "Pyjama Party" theme will be in effect, requesting that punters come wearing "naughtie nighties", "smoking jackets" and clutching "cigarette holders" though if nightwear is a little beyond you then smart dress is a must.
Already Coco Loco has proven immensely popular; the event had to change rooms after 500 tickets sold out almost immediately, meaning a larger capacity was required to allow more tickets to be sold.
Happily there are now more tickets on sale meaning that the rest of Bolton and beyond can go Loco tomorrow night.
And although the night will be wrapping up at 2am, there is no need for your Coco Loco experience to end there. Grab yourself a hotel room at The Last Drop, kick back your kitten heels and don't give a thought to those waiting, rather un-glamorously, for their taxi home!
