A POSTMAN suffered leg injuries after slipping on ice -- and watching in horror as his van ran over his leg.
The 40-year-old's Leyland DAF van had become stuck so he got out to investigate.
The vehicle rolled 100 yards from its position on Quarry Road, Stoneclough, on to Stoneclough Road, narrowly missing some pedestrians and smashing into a wall at 8.40am yesterday.
The postman, from Farnworth, was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital with a leg fracture and was later discharged.
