OLE Gunnar Solksjaer is relishing the prospect of Saturday's clash with Wanderers as he looks to repeat his last appearance at the Reebok Stadium.
The striker, known as the "baby-faced assassin" because of his youthful looks and deadly accuracy in front of goal, was a hat-trick hero as Manchester United ran out 4-0 winners at Wanderers last January.
Although Solksjaer only came on as a second half substitute in the midweek Champions League win over Juventus he believes his side will look to impose themselves more in Saturday's meeting with a team at the wrong end of the Premiership.
And he hopes that will mean adding to the 12 goals he has scored already this season.
The Norwegian international said: "In Europe you have to soak things up a bit more, and that was the case against Juventus.
"They really came at us and had most of the possession and for a lot of the time we were in our own half.
"We showed we could defend, and the fact they only scored right at the end shows how we pulled together.
"But hopefully it will be different at the weekend.
"It is an away game but we will look to take the game to them and it would be great to get another three points and some goals.
"For me it's always good to score goals, let's hope I can do something at Bolton."
Solksjaer believes the European success on Wednesday will help focus United's attention back on their domestic situation.
The Reds may have won seven Premiership titles but they are currently second best to Arsenal having lost their title to the Gunners last year.
Arsene Wenger's side lead the title race by three points at present, and United's season hit a low when they were eliminated from the FA Cup by their rivals last Saturday at Old Trafford.
But they now only need a single point from the return in Turin next Tuesday to yet again reach the quarter finals of the Champions League, which means Solksjaer and his illustrious team-mates can put Europe to one side.
Solksjaer said: "After the result against Juventus it takes the pressure off our European situation.
"We have done most of the hard work there now so we can start to really think about the Premiership again.
"It will be good to get back to the league and hopefully we can get the same kind of result which we got on Wednesday rather than the one we got against Arsenal at home last week."
