A BOLTON media student is leading a project to release a live video of indie favourites The Levellers.
David Kay and his team at the Cumbria Institute of the Arts will film the group's concert at the Guild Hall in Preston, intended for national release.
David is the producer and director for the project, which came about after his team produced an alternate animated video for the band's latest single Wild As Angels.
As well as recording the concert, the team will follow the band around before the gig and do interviews.
This footage is planned to be released nationally as an official Levellers live video on DVD and VHS in the next year.
The release will be under David's production company Red Brick Productions,
which he set up so he could produce music videos professionally when he finishes his course.
The funding that the team is now appealing for will go towards equipment and transport.
"We have already spent £400 on DV tapes for the camera and we would like to be able to use a minibus for transport," says Kay.
