A JURY considering 12 verdicts in an alleged rape and assault trial was sent home for the weekend.
The jury at Bolton Crown Court will resume its deliberations on Monday in the trial of Tabriaz Mahmood, aged 22, of Cecil Street, Bury, who is alleged to have beaten then raped a woman on several occasions. He faces a total of 12 charges, including rape, actual bodily harm, common assault, threats to kill and intimidation.
