AFTER beating off competition from hundreds of hopefuls around the world, Daniel Lauder from Bolton is set to enrol at the Laine Theatre Arts School in London.
But it was a tough choice for the 15-year-old who had also been offered a place at the SLP College in Leeds.
The fantastic opportunities offered by the schools proved a big decision for the teenager, especially as he had been offered full three year scholarships for both.
Daniel is currently a pupil at Lords College in Bolton and for several years has also been spending 10-12 hours a week at Dawn Dawson's Bolton Academy of Dance & Stage in preparation for his future in the highly competitive world of showbusiness.
He has already had a successful career in the arts -- lead roles in performances at Blackpool Opera House, Her Majesties Theatre in London, Palace Theatre, Manchester, as an interviewer on the Disney Channel and dancer with Atomic Kitten.
This year sees Daniel appearing at the Lowry and The Opera House as a lead in stage musicals Fame and Moulin Rouge, followed by a three night run at the Albert Halls in Bolton for the Schools production of Starmaker! -- in aid of the Mayor's Charity Fund.
Dawn Dawson says: "Daniel has always been an excellent student with great potential and drive.
"This, together with his determination, parental backing and professional tuition will see him go on to many great things."
