A BRILLIANT array of the world's favourite pianists and musicians, including Nicolai Demidenko, Grigory Sokolov and Krystian Zimerman will join forces for Piano 2003 -- a two-week long festival to celebrate the amazing influence of the piano in the world of music.
The festival, hosted and organised by The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, is the brainchild of acclaimed pianist, Kathryn Stott and builds on the remarkable success of Piano 2002.
"I'm delighted to present a whole host of wonderful pianists from around the world," says Stott. "Versatility and variety are the key words in this unique festival ranging from solo recitals, chamber and orchestral concerts to poetry, piano-art and even our 'magical' piano."
She adds: "Whether you're a piano expert, or simply love great piano playing, Piano 2003 is the place to be."
Piano 2003 is at the Bridgewater Hall from March 14-30. Further details 0161 907 9000.
