TONGE Moor Cons Club continued their march to the Bolton Sunday League Premier Division title with a top goal show against Hare and Hounds, Stoneclough.
In a dazzling display, the Cons eventually came out 9-0 winners with Neil Roscoe leading the way with four goals.
Baz Wilcox added two more and there was one each for Des Wilcox, Darren Farnworth and Mick Walkden.
Hare and Hounds, Bolton, did better than their Stoneclough namesakes when they beat Seven Stars 3-1. On target for the winners were Craig Maher, Andrew Tracey while Paul Gibson added one from the penalty spot.
Doffcocker were in a goal mood as they went to Grapes Hotel and registered a handsome 7-1 win. There were two goals each for Nick and Damien Smith while Dean Taylor, Ben Ecclesall and John Grundy were also on target.
Horwich Vic and Carter's Arms both hit four as they picked up expected wins at home to Griffin and Clifton Rangers.
Andrew Elliott and Danny Holmes each scored two as third placed Vic won 4-1 against second placed Griffin, while two goals from Rob Howarth, and one each from Clint McLoughlin and Rod Owen accounted for Carter's 4-0 scoreline against Rangers.
Five games in the first division produced a total of 39 goals with Seven Stars, Little Lever leading the way with nine and Greenwood adding eight.
A Neil Dugdale hat-trick sparked Seven Stars' win at Cherry Tree Park with the other goals in the 9-0 win coming from Tony Lesh, two, Danny Winnard, Steve Taylor, Matt Dunn and Gary Dugdale.
Gary Askew and Bobby Fisher both scored twice in Greenwood's 8-0 win at Bottom Bull, further goals coming from Matt Wolfenden, Ross Crompton, Stewart Gaskell and David Walker.
Ladybridge and Beaumont produced a high-scoring game, the match ending in a 6-4 win for Ladybridge. A hat-trick from Hinks, two from Massey and one from Lewoan made up the Ladybridge total while Adam Patton, two, Paul Whittaker and Adam Kaye scored for the losers.
Smithills hit six without reply against Farmer's Arms, Stefan Dean hitting a hat-trick.
Black Horse, Tyldesley, overcame Greenfield 4-3 in the only Open Cup tie of the weekend.
