STAND will take on Pennington in the BSF Over 35s League Division One Cup final after both sides safely negociated the semi-final stage.

Pennington needed extra-time to see off Cross Keys 2-1 while Stand beat Turton 2-0.

Meanwhile Dobbies A moved two points clear at the top of League Division One after a convincing 5-0 demolition of Willows.

The Division Two Cup quarter-finals saw Newmarket run out worthy 3-1 winners away at Hare Athletic. Also through to the semis are Seven Stars, who beat Bay Mare Strollers 4-2.

The Division Three Cup quarter final saw leaders Bottom Bulls Head win through to the semis after beating Dobbies C 3-1. Joining them will be Urmston MC, who beat Founders Arms 3-0.

Old Smithillians move up to 3rd place in League Division Three after beating Westhoughton Wingates 5-2 at home and Walkden AFC beat DF Lostock 2-0.
