BOLTON Institute's world-renowned textiles research team is to host its third medical textiles conference -- MedTex '03 -- this summer.
The Institute's Centre for Materials Research and Innovation is holding the event at the Moat House Hotel on July 8 and 9.
The conference is sponsored by a number of major medical textiles companies in the North-west, including SSL International, Shiloh plc and Vernon Carus, Lantor (UK).
More than 200 delegates are expected at the event, also supported by NWTexNet and the Textile Institute.
The Centre is one of the UK's leading healthcare and medical textiles research groups.
It has expertise in wound treatment, Deep Vein Thrombosis and orthopaedic casts.
