A NEW project to help Bolton people handle money matters better is holding sessions for people interested in becoming volunteers.
The Money Skills Service, which starts in April, aims to give residents the confidence and skills they need to make the best money decisions.
It will operate in East Bolton, Farnworth, Halliwell, Central and Derby wards.
Organisers need three people to become development workers. For further information call Gill Leng on (01204) 335364.
They will organise activities and will be trained to work in the community.
The scheme has been set up by Bolton Community Homes, in partnership with the East Bolton Regeneration and the Bolton European Funding Partnership.
Anyone interested is invited to go along to information sessions on Thursday, February 27, at St Chad's, Longworth Street, Tonge Fold. They will be held at 1pm, 2.15pm and 3.30pm. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
