SO... Dick Dastardly has finally admitted his terrible toll of murder.
It's been Coronation Street's best storyline for ages and, boy, have they strung it out.
The wait was probably worth it. Poor Gail's little dormouse face crumbled into tears and temper alternately. But Richard sounded perfectly rational for most of Monday's two-parter.
Certainly, Audrey and Emily had their best years behind them, and deserved to die. Daft Maxine was an unfortunate victim of wrong-place-wrong-time. No problem.
Brian Capron's evil Richard Hillman ultimately started to crack open, with the complete nutter revealed by the time Gail was, for some unknown reason, ringing her mum to come round straight away.
I just hope it's not the last we see of Dirty Dicky. I've got a list of people I'd like him to meet, and they're not all actors on The Street.
