FULL marks to Arsenal's Kanu for setting up a charitable organisation which will enable needy children to have heart operations.
He is living proof that the theory that all footballers are greedy is ridiculous. Next Tuesday he will stage a showpiece game at the Reebok Stadium where a bargain £10 for adults and £5 for kids will buy a first hand look at dozens of top quality players like Henry, Vieira, Desailly, Okocha and Djorkaeff and maybe Thuram, Makelele and Ronaldinho.
Some are flying in for the game, others are driving hundreds of miles. Sixty nine household names have expressed an interest in coming knowing they may only get 15 minutes on the pitch and managers are happy to let them travel and play despite their clubs' heavy schedule.
