ONCE we had George Michael, Bono and the saintly Bob Geldolf, taking a stand to help starving children in Africa with Band Aid.
Now lightweight pop star Lee Ryan, from Blue, wants to get the likes of Kylie and Justin Timberlake to band together for an anti war song.
The fact that the majority of today's pop puppets wouldn't know a political argument if it slapped them round the chops doesn't seem to be an issue, although ex Band Aider George Michael is understandably worried about such a venture.
Don't worry George, no doubt their managers will be telling them what to think about the war anyway...
