TWO men from Bolton and a man from Walkden have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death last night.
The 33-year-old victim was found in a collapsed condition in an alleyway between Strawberry Road and Board Street, Pendleton, Salford, at 10pm.
He was taken to Salford's Hope hospital with stab wounds to his chest and lower abdomen and he later died.
A 24-year-old old man from Walkden has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 31-year-old man from Farnworth and an 18-year-old man from Bolton have both been detained on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.
A post mortem examination was due to be carried out later today.
The murder victim has not yet been formally been identified.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Polcie said: "Inquiries into the murder are continuing."
