TRAVEL advice has been issued to football fans going to Cardiff for the Worthington Cup final between Manchester United and Liverpool this weekend.
Supporters are warned to allow plenty of time or use public transport to get to the Millennium Stadium.
Although there are traffic systems in place, there are also roadworks on the M50 which is restricting traffic to one lane.
Extra coach parking facilities will be available in the city centre with park and ride facilities located on the outskirts of Cardiff.
Shuttle buses will also ferry fans in and these facilities will be sign posted from the Cardiff junction of the M4.
For up to the minute travel and traffic information, fans should phone Traffic Wales on 0845 6026020, visit the web-site on www.traffic-wales.com or listen to Red Dragon radio for up-to-the-minute bulletins.
