I WOULD like to know why it is that the Government pegs most workers' and pensioners' pay rises to below inflation, but allows local councils to increase council tax by almost double inflation?
As a lifelong Labour supporter, I do think this council is too apathetic and we need a change, as this increase is an insult to the Bolton ratepayers. We need better financial management.
