PLEASE can I bring to the attention of your readers that March is Vegetarian Month.
Let me point out that these days vegetarian food can be fun, especially for young children, with choices like sausages, bacon, burgers, meatless pies and chickenless slices, as well as hearty meals for dads using "veggie" chicken and mince. No need to go without your favourites -- just substitute "veggie".
Let me dispel a myth. It is not about living on vegetables, nuts and pulses. A whole explosion of taste awaits you. Just dine out Indian, Chinese, Mexican or Italian. You can even "sin" on chocolate, wine and ice cream.
So what is stopping you? Come on Bolton, just try a "veggie" meal, "veggie" food for a day, or even a week. You will surprise yourself and will come to like this healthy diet -- saving our animals and even yourself.
Trust me, try it and you'll like it.
