RUMOURS are circulating in Bolton ... one of the foremost tribute bands in the country is planning a "Lancashire invasion".
The group, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, is set to appear at The Albert Halls, Bolton, on March 11, and then at the King George's Hall, Blackburn on March 15. This follows a performance at the Opera House in Manchester.
The group has even been endorsed by the "real thing" -- founder member of Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood.
Rumours of Fleetwood Mac formed in New York in 1997 and has performed more than 300 major theatre concerts to 225,000 fans throughout the world.
The show is described as the "ultimate celebration concert" by a group who describe themselves as "possibly six of Fleetwood Mac's biggest fans" and will include classic hits including Black Magic Woman, Albatross, Go Your Own Way, Dreams, Gypsy, Oh Diane and Little Lies.
The Bolton show begins at 8pm, with tickets available from 334400.
