THE first week of April promises to be a barrel of laughs in Bolton . . . with the prospect of six sell out comedy concerts in the town within seven days.
Peter Kay has already taken the town by storm with his concerts at the Albert Halls on March 31 and April 1, 2 and 3 selling out in record time.
But now, organisers of Horwich Carnival hope to extend that sell out run on April 4 and 6 with evenings of music and laughs at Horwich RMI Club. In fact, the April 4 concert is already a sell out, and organisers are staging a second performance on April 6 due to public demand.
The concerts will feature Buzz Hawkins, the man behind the Bradshaws, and Wingates Brass Band. In the Sunday show comic Tom Newton will compere.
All funds go to the Carnival charities and tickets are from 468911.
