Meet 20-year-old Graham Hardcastle, an ardent Bolton Wanderers fan.

His beloved Bolton hasn't been too lucky of late, managing just to hang onto their premiership position to avoid relegation.

So what makes him support Bolton? Apparently that's a question his friends ask him on a daily basis - so Zo Graham took time out of her busy schedule to don a footie shirt and kick a ball about to find out why.

How long have you been a Bolton fan?

Since I was about three, so that's 16-17 years. But I've been a season ticket holder for ten years.

Why support the Wanderers?

My Dad was a Bolton fan and he took me to my first match when I was three or four. It was against Blackpool, can't remember what the score was, but from that moment I was hooked.

What does it feel like to win a match?

Crikey, we don't win that often! But when we do, well, you're on an instant high, and if it's a must win game, it is one of the best feelings in the world!

What's the worst thing about supporting Bolton?

How long have you got?!! We're not the most successful side in the country, so I guess it would be nice to win something but I don't mind - I have been to Wembley six times - Coca Cola cup, FA Cup and Sherpa Van Cup play offs - and Cardiff once so I can't complain.

Are there any high/low points about supporting the Wanderers?

High points would have to be FA cup runs and play offs. Being relegated from Premiership in 1996 and 1998 would have to be the low points.

If you were manager for the day what changes would you make and why?

Manager for the day would be difficult because I wouldn't be able to make a difference in a day. But, I would try to get as much memorabilia as possible - definitely Jay Jay Okocha and Youli Djorkaeffs shirts, because that's what I collect, things like that.

If you could pick a line-up from any Bolton team, past or present, who would you choose?

1. Keith Branagan

2. Bernard Mendy

3. Simon Charlton

4. Gundi Bergsson

5. Alan Stubbs

6. Claus Jensen

7. Michael Johansen

8. Youri Djorkaeff

9. Eidir Gudjohnsen

10. John Mc Ginlay

11. Ricardo Gaenrdner

GK Jussi Jaaskelain

And of course no team is complete without the sub's bench:

Andy Walker

Jason Mc Ateer

Per Frandsen

What are your top ten matches of all time?

Bolton V Reading 4-3

Bolton V Preston 3-0

Bolton V Hull City 2-1

Bolton V Liverpool 2-0

Bolton V Manchester United 2-1

Bolton V Manchester United 1-0

Bolton V Newcastle United 4-3

Bolton V Arsenal 1-0

So that's an insight into life as a Bolton fan. In the words of D:ream "Things can only get better!"

But, err, Graham can you just explain that offside rule again ...
