YOUNG performers with the Drama Workshop Youth Theatre are going on a tour of the North-west with their latest production, Placebo Therapy.
The play, featuring actors aged between 15 and 18 years, is based on the novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, and follows the story of a new inmate in the disparaging world of a mental institution.
Performances will merge live acting with a digital video projection and a soundtrack.
The tour will travel to audiences as far as Liverpool, but comes to Bolton on March 13 and 16, when performances take place at the Studio Theatre, Bolton YMCA, and on March 20 at Smithills Hall.
All performances start at 7.30pm. Tickets, £5 adults, £3 concessions, are from Wendy on 07931 337764. The group is offering free tickets for youth organisations interested whose members are interested in attending. Group leaders should confirm numbers in advance as places are limited.
