SIX men were arrested during dawn raids across Greater Manchester in connection with an armed robbery at the Royal Mail in Preston in which a significant amount of money was stolen.
Detective Inspector Tony Bolton said: "From early on in the investigation, Lancashire officers have been working closely with their Greater Manchester colleagues, particularly in relation to the two vehicles recovered at the scene."
The Royal Mail is offering a reward of £25,000 for information received which leads to the arrest and conviction of the people involved in the robbery.
